Dominique Brim, Founder & Executive Director
I founded Little Creators of Our Lives because I know what it feels like to rebuild from the inside out. My path has been one of resilience, faith, and renewal—marked by moments where I had to choose between giving up or creating something new out of my pain. As the first in my family to earn a master’s degree, and as a mother who has overcome homelessness, depression, and hardship, I’ve learned that healing doesn’t just come from therapy or medication—it comes from connection, creativity, and being reminded that you still matter.
For years, I watched so many people in my community—especially women, youth, and families—carry unspoken pain with no place to release it. We often normalize survival but rarely celebrate restoration. That’s why I created Little Creators of Our Lives: to reimagine what mental health care can look like when it feels like home, not a hospital.
Our work bridges the gap between wellness and accessibility by offering creative healing workshops, virtual therapy spaces, and holistic wellness programs that honor the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. We focus on helping individuals rediscover their voice, restore their confidence, and reconnect with joy.
My vision is to build a mental wellness hub that feels like a safe haven—where healing is gentle, creative, and inclusive of all genders, ages, and backgrounds. Every program we create is a reflection of the lessons life has taught me: that healing is not linear, that your story has power, and that transformation begins when someone believes in you.
Through Little Creators of Our Lives, I hope to give that belief back to the people who need it most.
